We ran low on fresh fruits and veg, so my husband made a run to the local produce stand (after which he decontaminated in the hot tub on max heat). He brought home a pineapple.
We do not have a designated spot for pineapple storage, so I plopped it down on the counter behind the knife block. I’m taking wagers on how long it sits there until somebody does something with it.
Keeping with the theme of things for which there is no spot in the kitchen, I just ordered my daughter a mushroom grow kit from Back to the Roots. She is a twelve-year-old mushroom fan–probably the only one in Lower Alabama.
