Should I toss my sourdough starter discard into banana bread?

In the oven at 350 degrees (convection on the Kenmore “bread” setting). It started to rise immediately. This oven warrior contains 4 Tbs sourdough starter discard and a quarter teaspoon each of baking powder and baking soda.

I ended up with a fluffier-than-usual banana bread. Bon appetit!
