I have only once chosen my own stove. 5+ years ago I picked out a Kenmore Elite Convection Oven at Sears. It’s been great! I read the directions after I ordered it to be sent to the home builders for installation.
I was today years old when I remembered that it has a BREAD setting.

Actually, I did not “remember” the setting so much as noticed a CAKES/BREADS button that I had never previously pressed. After a year of socially-distanced sourdough bread experimentation, neglecting that button might be considered a failure to assert luxury.
It’s like when microwave manufactures introduced the newfangled POPCORN button, but everybody forgot to use it at first and just set the time for 2:30 like we’d been doing for the previous four years.

The BREADS choice worked great! Check out that puff!
