Love Bundt

Plated finished cake and the original packaging of the frozen product.

I romanticize the word “bundt.” It’s weird because of the “-dt” and represents the one thing in life that nobody takes for granted: the quality of a cake baked into a circle. I bought this frozen pastry and followed the directions to let rise overnight on a pan, but then I strayed and laid the raised loaf into a ring shape in my stoneware bundt dish. “Will it cook on the bottom?” I wondered?

Crispy top with no signs of the faces of Jesus, Mary, or Elvis. Did it cook through?
Yes, it cooked appropriately! I did add a few more minutes to the prescribed 22 to 25. And it tasted delicious.
The remaining half of the pastry ring has been sequestered inside the toaster oven so the cats can’t get to it.
